A: Yes, this is true in the United States, Canada, and England. England was at 90% long before the US was and Canada was the last to reach the 90% mark. Sadly the figure is 90% tested prenatally and thought to have Down syndrome - not fetuses who had it. The test for Down syndrome is not wholly accurate- so many babies without Down syndrome are aborted because of misdiagnosis. This obviously does not include the people who are against abortion or abortion solely on account of disability and do not have the testing done because they would under no circumstances abort anyway.
